It's Oscars week, which I think is kinda sorta just a lot of show. I like learning about foreign and documentary films that I might not have previously considered, but overall I tend to disagree with the nominations and wins. In this spirit, I wanted to do a little post about Chris Cooper, just because. He's not up for anything this year, but he's a great actor, and not someone that people regularly reference, or that I ever really think about, but then I'll see him in something and I'm reminded of how much I like him. He makes good decisions, and is pretty prolific. It would be great if awards season celebrated more Chris Coopers, and fewer dress designers.
